A technique similar to chiropractic, we use high force of small amplitude for a short duration in the anatomical range of motion within the joint to break through the barrier of anatomical tissue restriction.
In agreement with a physiotherapist, this is a safe and useful method in certain orthopedic conditions. It is a gentle and very useful skill in working with a wide range of patients. It is a manual technique where the hands are applied to the patient’s skin.
The technique is painless and if the patient has fear or discomfort during the technique, we do not continue it, but change the course and plan of therapy. The effect comes very quickly and there are no later side effects or recovery.
