Therapeutic Ultrasound – Increasing Tissue Extensibility
Therapeutic ultrasound is a safe and painless method that involves the patient’s skin, the contact medium, and the ultrasound head.
Ultrasound offers us biological, thermal, and mechanical effects. Increase tissue extensibility, better nerve conduction, increase local circulation, and pain tolerance, and promotes analgesia.
The ultrasound head is placed directly on the patient’s skin, between which is an ultrasound gel, colorless and odorless, as a contact medium, which is a condition for the frequencies to enter the body segment we are working on.
Ultrasound is not felt and lasts 10 minutes, the effect is achieved after just a few treatments, and there are no later symptoms or side effects.
