Kinesiotape

Kinesiotape – Effective Therapy for Muscles and Joints

KinesioTape is an elastic tape that, due to its properties, has a biomechanical effect. A cloth tape with elastic properties, when the tape is stretched and parts of the body are moved, it acts as a pump that stimulates lymph, promotes circulation and supports muscle work. The therapy was founded in Japan  where Kenzo Kase determined that frequent pain is the result of muscle and other tissue imbalances in the joint area and the imbalance of muscle strength and flexibility.

INSTALLATION OF Kinesio Tape

Kinesio Tape – tapes are glued to the patient’s skin under a certain tension and direction of action depending on the indication assessed by the physiotherapist. KinesioTape tapes are left on the patient’s body for 3-4 days, after which they lose their elasticity, and therefore their function. The tapes are not felt and do not interfere with activities of daily life and are waterproof.

EFFECTS OF KinesioTape

KinesioTape improves muscle function, reduces muscle fatigue, reduces muscle spasms, increases range of motion, improves local circulation and lymph flow, is excellent for edematous conditions and reduces pain.

Potential patients for Kinesio Tape
