Gynecology and obstetrics specialist
Fitim Murati dr. med.
Fitim Murati, MD, a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics with extensive experience in hospital and outpatient practice. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the State University of Tetovo (North Macedonia) in 2015. During his studies, he participated in the Erasmus program as part of the Faculty of Medicine in Edirne, Turkey. After completing his studies, he worked as a family medicine physician at the Hemofarm outpatient clinic in Tetovo. In the General Hospital Ogulin, he was a second-year resident at the unified emergency hospital admission service, and then a resident in gynecology and obstetrics at the Rijeka Clinical Hospital.
He completed his specialization in 2024, after which he returned to Ogulin as a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics.
Today, he works as a gynecologist and obstetrician at the General Hospital Ogulin, and also sees patients at the Alabdulla Polyclinic in Zagreb. In his first column for the Obitelj.hr portal, he states that he works with patients at the Alabdulla Polyclinic on a daily basis and that he advocates for educating women about the importance of regular gynecological examinations and the prevention of reproductive system diseases. He particularly emphasizes the importance of the Pap test as a simple but extremely effective method in the prevention of cervical cancer.
Dr. Murati speaks Albanian as his native language, and is fluent in Croatian and English, and is fluent in Spanish, Italian and German. Colleagues describe him as an independent and team player, cooperative and extremely organized.
